If you look closely at the pictures above, you will see that there is a hole at the end of the balled insert and one at the top.  The top is equipped with a male snap head that can be connected to a lead wire to electrify the insert.  The 1.6 inch black cover at the top of the insert can be used for holding the insert for experiencing various sensations at different depths.  You can find an adapter for these for your lead wire in our Wiring and Adapters section of this web site.  This is a single-pole electrode and you will need another electrode to complete the circuit (conductive loop, TENS pad, etc.).
